The Ski Season Quilt Block was originally designed for the 2022 Quiltmas Spectacular. After making a mitten (2020) and then a hat (2021) for the Quiltmas Spectacular, it seemed only fitting to continue my winter-sport equipment trend and dive into the world of skis! I love vintage skis. With their absurdly long length and clunky bindings, there’s something about them that always brings a smile to my face. And bonus, their simple geometric form feels made for quilting and strip piecing!
