Hi there! I’m Amanda, the quilter, designer, and writer behind Broadcloth Studio.

For as long as I can remember, making has been a constant in my life. There is something transformative about working with my hands. It shifts my perspective and pulls me into the moment. Quilting in particular is where my creativity feels most alive. A balance of structure and spontaneity keeps me inspired and fully engaged. That tension between plan and play is where I do my best work.

These days I am focused on building tools that support creative growth. Projects that feel more like frameworks than formulas. The playbooks I create are designed to guide not prescribe. They offer structure to start with and space to discover something unexpected along the way.

Over the years I have collaborated with partners across the quilting and craft world including Purl Soho, Love Patchwork and Quilting, LoveCrafts, Curated Quilts, The Crafter’s Box, and Domestika. I am always open to thoughtful collaborations that celebrate creativity and the joy of making.
