This Log Cabin Layout Throw-Size Quilt reimagines the traditional log cabin block by scaling up the structure—each block is part of a larger “log” in the overall design. Created for my book Quilting Adventures, this quilt explores flow and contrast through directional placement and bold color choices, resulting in a composition that feels graphic, structural, and full of movement.

Scaled-Up Log Cabin Design: Traditional log cabin blocks reworked to create visual "logs" that structure the layout itself.
Lively Color Palette: A playful yet balanced mix of fuchsia and coral pinks, orange, peach, and soft sage greens—bright and energetic with just the right amount of contrast.
Polished Finishing Touches: Professionally longarm quilted in a playful wishbone motif and hand-finished with a matching binding.
Two-Color Backing: The backing is a striking half-and-half design, featuring the darker and middle pinks featured in the quilt top.
